Bloomingdale Construction is a neighborhood building company located in Rochester.  We work in the downtown Rochester area, doing a variety of residential building and construction projects.

We do all kinds of jobs, from small jobs like installing a new front door, to big jobs like building a whole new house from the ground up, and everything in between. 

We work with and support local Rochester area businesses, like Dillman Upton, Chase Bank on Main St., Roy Cummings Insurance Agency, Magro International, The Private Bank, Paint Creek Center for the Arts, American Cancer Society, The City of Rochester, Brian Walters Photography, and many more.

We are a family business, our family name is “on the door” of our business. We are proud of our business and our name.  We realize that maintaining our good name, and the good reputation of our business is dependent on working very hard to see that all of our customers are completely satisfied and more. Our focus is to be known as a local building company that is a friend, and a benefit to, the greater Rochester area and its neigborhoods.

• Robert Bloomingdale - Managing Partner  Robert is a lifelong resident of the Detroit area.  He is graduate of Wayne State University and a licensed Michigan residential builder.  Robert has spent over 30 years managing major construction contracting projects throughout North America.  Some locally know projects include: The Renaissance Center, Cobo Hall, the People Mover, Ford Field, Chrysler Tech Center, and many of the local automotive plants.  During this time he also would build homes in his spare time for family and friends.  Robert has lived in the Rochester area for well over 20 years and prides himself in building homes that the community can admire and enjoy.
• John Bloomingdale - Senior Partner Operations - John is a 15 year veteran of residential building and contracting, experienced in renovation/remodeling, new construction, and an accomplished tradesman.
• Jason Bloomingdale - Partner, Superintendent  Jason is a 10 year tradesman with a variety of experience in building construction, renovation and remodeling.
