Q: Are you a licensed builder?
A: Yes, Bloomingdale Construction is a Michigan licensed and insured residential builder with over 30 years experience in the construction industry.

Q: Do you work on new construction and rebuilds/remodeling?
A: Yes - We have done a wide variety of projects, remodeling and rennovation can be the most challenging projects, but we have extensive experience these areas.

Q: How long will a new construction project take from start to finish?
A: Depending on size and complexity of project it can take 2 to 12 months. Most new homes are no more than 6 months from start of construction to completion.

Q: When designing a new home for an old neighborhood what factors do you take into consideration?
A: In this circumstance, we will design a house that matches the look and feel of the existing neighborhood taking into account the surrounding architecture, size of the lot, and age of the existing homes.  The greatest compliment someone can pay us is to think that one of our homes has always been there.

Q: Do I already need to have the land purchased or do you have lots available?
A: Either.  We will design a home for a lot that you have already purchased or we have some great sites available where we can build-to-suit.   Contact us and we can also arrange for a tour of one of our properties.

Q: Is it possible to see examples of your work?
A: Absolutely.  Visit our portfolio page to see before/during/after pictures of homes we have recently completed.

Q: Do you work outside of the Rochester area?
A: Yes, we work all around the metro Detroit area.

Q. Do we need to have a design or plan?
A. Not necessarily...We offer free conceptual design & budgeting service.

Q. Do you do small jobs?
A. Yes we do a full range from small to large.
